Job Summary
CT Technologist (PRN) at Wellstar Douglas in Douglasville, GA. Perform CT procedures per department guidelines, capture high-quality diagnostic images, and maintain patient safety and comfort. Independently operate imaging equipment, adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA), prepare and administer contrast when indicated, obtain clinical history and verify patient identifiers, explain procedures to reduce anxiety, and ensure accurate documentation in RIS/PACS. Collaborate with the care team to support department flow and maintain orderly, compliant imaging areas. Requires ARRT licensure/certification in radiography and CT, BLS, and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred. Shift type: various shifts; location-based in Henry County, GA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
- ARRT-CT - ARRT Computed Tomography
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association
