CT Technologist (PRN)

Job Summary
Performs CT procedures according to department guidelines to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. Responsibilities include operating imaging and radiographic equipment safely, maintaining ALARA dose levels, preparing and screening patients, obtaining clinical history and verifying orders, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and safety, administering contrast when indicated, positioning patients and applying markers, reviewing images for diagnostic quality, documenting and finalizing studies in RIS/PACS, monitoring patient condition and responding to emergencies, organizing daily workflows to support department operations, and assisting with equipment maintenance and restocking. Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, minimum 1 year radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology Required
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT - ARRT Computed Tomography; BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association
