CT Technologist (PRN)

Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and efficiently, obtain clinical history and patient identifiers, explain procedures using AIDET, ensure patient comfort, safety and privacy, administer contrast and venipuncture as needed, position patients and apply shielding, review and finalize imaging in RIS/PACS, monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies, maintain equipment and infection control, organize daily workflows and support department operations; work as part of a collaborative radiology team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging at Wellstar Douglas in Georgia. The role requires completion of Radiologic Technology program, ARRT CT/R radiography credentials, BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience; shift is varied as a PRN/contract position within the Wellstar system.
