Job Summary
CT Technologist - PRN (Part-time, rotating shift, with weekends/holidays). Produces high-quality CT exams and ensures proper operation of imaging equipment under Radiologist supervision; maintains patient care standards and sterile technique; participates in department activities, training, and on-call duties. Requires graduation from a JRC/ERT approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT (R) certification, MD state Radiographer licensure, CPR certification; CT registry (ARRT) preferred with NMTCB post-primary CT certification consideration. Two key duties include operating CT equipment to capture diagnostic-quality images and adhering to departmental policies while supporting mission and confidentiality. Salary range $37.18-$55.77 hourly; equivalent annualized to $77,346 - $116,001 depending on experience. Location: Silver Spring, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRC/ERT approved Radiologic Technology Program
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R)
- Licensed by the State of Maryland as a Radiographer
- CPR Certified - American Heart Association
- Registered Computed Tomography (CT) (R)
- Must present documentation to practice on dedicated CT scanner/ MD Board of Physicians and training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams
