Job Summary
Operate CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established protocols. Prepare and position patients for procedures, administer contrast media following safety guidelines, and monitor for adverse reactions. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate, timely results, and assist with interventional CT procedures including biopsies. Review images for technical accuracy, document clinical histories, and maintain quality control checks on equipment. Respond to emergency situations and ensure a clean, stocked work area. Requires Licensed Radiologic Technologist certification, CT certification, and BCLS. PRN flexible scheduling available.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state
- CT - Computed Tomography certification or eligibility to obtain within six (6) months of hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting
- (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer
