Job Summary
Perform CT scans and operate fluoroscopic C-arms to acquire diagnostic images while adhering to ALARA radiation principles. Submit studies for interpretation, provide patient education on contrast risks, and conduct quality assurance testing on equipment. Manage daily schedules by booking appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and obtaining prior authorizations for same-day patients. Archive images per protocol and ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards. Work on-site Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm, with a preference for one year of CT experience and an ARRT (CT) certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
- ARRT (CT)
- Basic Life Support certification
- The ability to work on-site
- Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the position
Desired Qualifications
- One year of CT experience preferred
