Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring proper positioning to produce quality CT studies. Operate the CT scanner to generate cross-sectional images of desired anatomy and administer contrast media as directed by the referring physician. Monitor patients for adverse drug events and report findings immediately. Perform routine quality assurance on equipment to identify basic malfunctions and handle necessary clerical duties such as answering phones.
