Job Summary
Performs CT and diagnostic imaging, interprets orders, and selects proper technical factors for each patient. Operates CT equipment and related imaging systems, ensures safety standards, and assists physicians with contrast administration. Supports radiology department operations across areas as needed, maintains equipment and documentation, and reports incidents. Works as part of a cooperative team on weekend/evening shifts; maintains credentialing and continuing education requirements. Preferred ARRT Advanced Level certification in CT Scan. Located at Mercy Hospital Perry in Perryville, MO (PRN, varied shifts).
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training
- ARRT registered or registry eligible upon hire, and ARRT achieved within six months of employment
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain
- Maintains credentialing agency continuing education
