Job Summary
PRN / Pool CT Technologist at Grady Health System performing advanced CT imaging under Radiologist direction to produce high-quality diagnostic images across multiple anatomical planes. Responsible for patient safety, comfort, and care throughout imaging procedures, utilizing CT scanners and related technologies, and contributing to efficient patient flow and throughput during assigned shifts. Maintains accurate clinical documentation and compliance with regulatory and departmental standards; demonstrates strong technical expertise, clinical judgment, and commitment to ongoing licensure, certification, and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate’s Degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ARRT-CT certification within six (6) months of hire, if applicable
- Must remain in good standing with the ARRT or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) by maintaining required continuing education credits and completing annual license renewal
- ARRT-CT Eligibility Pathways (Applicants May Be) Enrolled in an approved ARRT institution with an accredited Computed Tomography (CT) program; A recent graduate of an approved ARRT institution with an accredited CT program and eligible for ARRT-CT certification; An experienced Registered Technologist eligible for ARRT-CT certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
