Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Rescence Imaging (MRI), mammography, or other advanced modalities on adults and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, perform studies independently in on-call situations, and conduct portable exams as required. Maintain quality control standards while working at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, a Level II stroke-certified community hospital serving comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. This role requires no prior experience and includes intravenous therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
