Job Summary
Perform computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and reviews exams for clinical appropriateness. Prioritize exams, communicate critical situations to leaders, and educate patients prior to scanning while addressing ethical and clinical concerns. Maintain credentials, conduct pre/post procedure screenings, and perform necessary safety and quality checks to ensure right patient and right exam. Manage environmental resources, report safety issues, and support multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow. On-call rotation applies with a 12-hour night shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT) or NM Computed Tomography Provisional License (NMPCT)
- Current BLS certification
