Job Summary
Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and procedures, reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, appropriately prioritizes exams, and demonstrates effective communication of critical situations. Supports credentialing and ongoing competency, may perform general radiology or lab testing as required by location, and works night shifts on a full-time basis. Utilizes EPIC for charting, and participates in orientation and onboarding of new staff. Maintains required credentials and follows safety standards to ensure quality patient care. Requires ARRT credential, NM CT license (or provisional), and current BLS. Emphasizes compassionate patient care, effective communication, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to established imaging protocols.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT is required
- Must have a NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT) or NM Computed Tomography Provisional License (NMPCT)
- Current BLS is required
