Job Summary
Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and procedures, reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, prioritizes exams, and communicates critical situations. Maintains credentials and supports ongoing education, including tuition/certification reimbursement. Requires ARRT eligibility/credentialing in CT and a NM CT license, with BLS. Works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care and to educate patients prior to scanning; may participate in general radiology and/or lab testing as needed. Evening shifts available; EPIC charting used; emphasis on safety, quality, and continual professional development.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT is required
- Must have NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT) or NM Computed Tomography Provisional License (NMPCT)
- Current BLS is required
- Education: Associate Degree
