Job Summary
Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and procedures, reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, prioritizes exams, and communicates critical findings; participates in orientation and credential maintenance; may perform general radiology or lab testing as required by location; uses clinical reasoning and evidence-based guidelines to manage CT imaging; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and care, educates patients prior to scanning, ensures patient safety and right exam selection, and supports ongoing staff development and quality initiatives. Eligible for night/weekend differentials and benefit from tuition/certification reimbursement and wellness programs; strong emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care and adherence to safety, calibration, and quality protocols.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT is required
- NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT) or NM Computed Tomography Provisional License (NMPCT)
- Current BLS is required
- Education: Associate Degree
