Job Summary
CT Technologist performs computerized tomographic radiographs per established practices, reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, prioritizes exams, documents credential maintenance, and may perform general radiology/lab testing. Demonstrates clinical reasoning and effective communication, educates patients prior to scanning, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize exam flow, ensures safety and quality checks, and supports new employee orientation. Roles include adherence to protocol manuals, safety/calibration checks, and ongoing professional development; works evenings on a full-time 0.90 FTE schedule at Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT is required
- NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT) or NM Computed Tomography Provisional License (NMPCT)
- Current BLS is required
- Education: Associate Degree
