Job Summary
Perform CT examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment while taking into account individual patients special or age-related needs. Utilize knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images. Maintain National Provider BLS certification and Oregon Medical Imaging License upon hire, or obtain National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography certification within one year. Work per diem variable shifts on-site at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
- National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
