Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computerized tomography examinations for patient diagnosis under the general supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging. Key responsibilities include obtaining and recording patient information, assisting and positioning patients, preparing and administering contrast media, and monitoring equipment operations. Required qualifications include ARRT certification in Radiology, RTR licensure, and BLS certification. The role requires a commitment to exceptional patient care and adherence to safety standards in imaging practices.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiology
- RTR licensure in Commonwealth Massachusetts
- CT modality certification within 1 year of employment
- BLS certification
- Maintaining all area specific CEUs for ARRT, DPH
