Job Summary
As a CT Technologist, perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures (including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast, and invasive procedures) to support patient care and physician decisions. Review patient history, reconcile orders, ensure image quality, and present completed studies to radiologists. Prepare and administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast per protocol, assist radiologists with invasive procedures, and adhere to radiation safety and ALARA guidelines. Safely transport and position patients using protective equipment, and mentor new staff as needed. Requires AMA-approved Radiology Technology training, ARRT(R) certification with NH licensure eligibility; strong computer/data entry skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment. Preferred: ARRT(CT) certification and 1–2 years CT experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program (or equivalent)
- Certified by ARRT(R); eligible for NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure
- Skilled in computer use and data entry
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
