Job Summary
Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort. Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of desired anatomy using proper positioning and technical factors. Administer contrast media as directed by physicians while monitoring for adverse drug events. Perform routine quality assurance on equipment to identify basic malfunctions. Handle necessary clerical duties, including answering phones. This per diem role at Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando Central supports critical illness recovery services for chronically and critically ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
- hold current state license
- At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist
- Must have ARRT or CMRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure
