Job Summary
Perform CT examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment and taking into account individual patients' special or age-related needs. Utilize knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images. Maintain Oregon Medical Imaging License and National Registered Technologist certification, with specific CT or Nuclear Medicine certifications required within one year of hire. Complete BLS training upon hire. This role supports Providence Portland Medical Center's mission of patient-focused, whole-person care for the most vulnerable in our communities.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
- National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
