Job Summary
Perform CT diagnostic or therapeutic procedures in accordance with departmental standards and safety protocols. Assess patient information, prepare and educate patients for procedures, and complete documentation of patient care. Utilize hospital technology systems and equipment while maintaining productivity and flexibility to meet patient care needs. Adhere to modality-specific safety protocols and actively participate in departmental meetings and committee initiatives. Requires current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification, Advanced CT certification within two years, and NH Board licensure. Per diem schedule with moderate physical demands involving lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to radiation. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration
- Advanced certification in CT required within 2 years of hire
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association
- Licensed and Certified by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- Ability to regularly lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 - 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 - 50 pounds
