Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality computed tomography imaging services, preparing and positioning patients for scans, administering IV contrast dyes, and maintaining CT scan equipment. The role involves interpreting physician orders, ensuring patient comfort, examining images for usability, and documenting procedures in the electronic medical record system. Candidates should have active ARRT certification, experience with CT imaging principles, and strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, biology, and chemistry
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
