Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic radiographic services using CT imaging modalities as prescribed by physicians, operating equipment while applying radiation protection principles to minimize exposure. Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and patient identification, administering or assisting with contrast media and specialized interventional procedures. Perform quality control checks, maintain accurate confidential patient records, and ensure proper documentation. Provide physical and psychological support to patients during procedures and supervise radiology students. Schedule varies by shift selection (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) with per diem hours; benefits status is not eligible. Requires current Wisconsin Radiographer license, ARRT certification, and CT certification within one year.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Radiography school
- Current WI Radiographer license
- ARRT Certification
- CT Certification (required within one year of training completion)
- CPR certification within 90 days
- Ability to keep personal medical information about patients confidential
Desired Qualifications
- CT Certification preferred upon hire
