Job Summary
Operates computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnosis, while performing general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assesses, plans, and evaluates care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric, producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images, maintains accurate records and billing, and performs routine equipment maintenance and supply inventory management. Requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, BLS, and state-specific licenses. Part-time, variable shift role at Adventist Health Reedley.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- Venipuncture certification
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT
