Job Summary
Perform CT examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment and adjusting imaging factors to produce optimal images for individual patients. Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging techniques and patient treatment needs, accommodating special or age-related requirements. Maintain Oregon Medical Imaging License and National Provider BLS certification upon hire, with additional CT or Nuclear Medicine certification required within one year. Work night shifts from Friday 10pm-8am and Saturday-Sunday 8pm-8:30am at Providence Milwaukie Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
- National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
