Job Summary

The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, performs imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy, and ensures accurate record-keeping. Essential responsibilities include assessing patient care, producing reformatted images, maintaining medical data integrity in compliance with HIPAA regulations, performing equipment maintenance, and managing supply inventory. Required qualifications include ARRT registration and state licensing, while an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and various certifications are preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice required in CA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification required
  • ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • Advanced Certification in the modality of CT preferred in CA
  • Fluoroscopy license in state of employment preferred in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR

Additional Requirements
