CT Technologist Outpatient

CT Technologist performs CT procedures per department guidelines, operates imaging equipment safely, and adjusts techniques to achieve diagnostic-quality images while maintaining ALARA dose. Responsibilities include obtaining clinical history, verifying orders and patient identifiers, explaining procedures with clear communication using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy, administering contrast per protocol using sterile technique, positioning patients and applying markers, reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability, completing documentation in RIS/PACS, monitoring patient conditions and responding to emergencies, and supporting department operations and workflow. Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT CT/R credentials, ARRT-R radiography certification, and BLS; minimum 1 year radiology experience.
