Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric while operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation and utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately. Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while ensuring image integrity in compliance with HIPAA. Perform routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manage supply inventory. This role represents the OFNHP and requires an ARRT-CT certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- Venipuncture certification
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation
