Job Summary
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for an acute care team. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and applying analytical skills to determine patient care needs by age. Requires ARRT CT certification with possible 6-month window to obtain CT credential, state license, and completion of an ARRT-approved Radiography or NMTCB-recognized program. Education typically an associate degree; one year CT experience preferred. PRN schedule including all shifts and holidays at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification required (RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT)
- Must obtain ARRT (CT) within 6 months of hire
- State license requirement
- Education: 2 year/associate degree preferred; ARRT-approved Radiography Program or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program
- One year CT experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Prepares patient for procedures; operates CT equipment
- Applicable life support training policy may be required
