Job Summary
CT Technologist Nights provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with scope and standards of practice and UCHealth policies. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and orders, educating patients about procedures, preparing/administering contrast media within scope, monitoring patient condition, preparing equipment, selecting exposure factors and imaging parameters, ensuring safety and performing QC, troubleshooting equipment, positioning patients, analyzing results, reporting scans, and potentially performing 3-D post-processing. Requires critical thinking, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
