Job Summary
Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with scope and standards of practice within UCHealth Radiology. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and orders, scheduling, educating patients on procedures and equipment, administering contrast media or medications within scope, monitoring patient condition, preparing equipment and supplies, selecting exposure factors and imaging parameters, upholding safety standards, performing quality control, troubleshooting equipment, positioning patients, and acquiring imaging procedures. May perform 3-D post-processing and analyzes results to address image quality issues, with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT CT registration or registry-eligible status with registry completion within 12 months, state licensure if required, and BLS/CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and/or registry eligible with completion of registry in CT by ARRT
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through AHA or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card valid through sixty days of hire
