Job Summary

Conduct computed tomography imaging, review patient history and physician orders, and educate patients on procedures and equipment. Administer contrast media and medications when ordered, while monitoring patient condition and reporting status changes. Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, perform quality control, and troubleshoot malfunctions. Analyze imaging results, resolve quality issues, and enter scan reports, including optional 3-D post processing. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. This onsite night shift role at UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion offers competitive hourly pay dependent on experience, with opportunities for performance bonuses, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
  • Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
  • BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work nights
