Job Summary
Conduct computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards, reviewing patient history, physician orders, and scheduling. Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media or medications, monitor patient condition, and report status changes. Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, implement safety standards, and perform quality control procedures. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, position patients, and perform imaging procedures. Analyze results to identify image quality issues, take corrective action, and enter or transmit scan reports. This onsite role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Full-time, 80-hour pay period with night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
