Job Summary

Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable standards and organizational policies. Reviews patient history and physician orders, and handles scheduling. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepares equipment and supplies, implements safety standards, conducts quality control, and troubleshoots equipment issues. Analyzes imaging results, addresses image quality concerns through corrective actions such as repositioning or repeating procedures. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; must be registered as a Radiologic Technologist and achieve CT registry with ARRT within 12 months. Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible with completion of registry in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 months
