Job Summary
CT Technologist Nights provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable standards and organizational policies. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and orders, educating patients about procedures, administering contrast media within scope, monitoring patient condition, preparing equipment, selecting imaging parameters, performing safety and quality control procedures, troubleshooting equipment, positioning patients, acquiring imaging, analyzing results, addressing image quality issues, and entering/reporting scan results. Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT CT registration (or eligibility with registry within 12 months), state licensure if required, and BLS/CPR certification. This is a full-time, nights-shift, on-site role in the Radiology department in Aurora, CO at UCHealth.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
