Job Summary
Prepare patients and equipment for CT studies, including portable exams and on-call situations, while performing diagnostic imaging independently for diagnosis and treatment. Operate 64-slice CT scanners with fluoroscopy capabilities at Alton Memorial Hospital, adhering to a full-time overnight schedule of 12-hour shifts (Monday/Tuesday 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday noon to midnight) three days per week. Cross-train in CT if currently registered as an R.T. (R).
Required Qualifications
- Must be R.T. (R) registered if not (CT) registered
- Associate or Trade School
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- RTR
- CT

- VI
- RCIS
- RCES
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Intravenous Therapy
- Willing to cross train in CT
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures
- Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area
