Job Summary
Conduct CT imaging exams per department protocol, ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and anatomical positioning. Administer oral barium products or intravenous contrast material as ordered by the physician while practicing appropriate infection control and sterile techniques. Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images, critique own films, and complete studies within acceptable time limitations. Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and follow ALARA radiation safety protocols. Night shift, full-time, 7-day on/7-day off schedule. $35.25–$54.39 hourly. Up to $7,500 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Radiography Certification/Registration (ARRT)
- Relevant State licensure (where required)
- Demonstrated CT proficiency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (healthcare)
- Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Must be able to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Must be able to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Must be able to stand in a stationary position for an extended period
- Must be able to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Must be able to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
