Job Summary
Conduct CT scans ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and anatomical positioning while adhering to ALARA radiation safety protocols. Administer oral barium products or intravenous contrast materials under physician supervision and operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images. Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and practice appropriate infection control and sterile techniques. Critique own films and complete studies within acceptable time limitations without compromising care. Shifts follow a full-time, 7-day on/7-day off schedule with night duties. The role supports clinical teams at American Fork Hospital and Saratoga Springs ED, offering student loan assistance and continuing education support.
Required Qualifications
- Radiography Certification/Registration (ARRT)
- Relevant State licensure (where required)
- Demonstrated CT proficiency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (healthcare)
- Full-time, 7-day on/7-day off schedule, night shift
