CT Technologist – Night Shift

Job Summary

Conduct clinically comprehensive CT examinations for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients, including procedures with and without contrast. Start IVs and administer contrast according to established protocols, while assisting with CT-guided procedures. Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, and extremities. Explain examinations to patients and their families, answer questions, and reduce anxiety associated with CT procedures. Apply radiation-safety best practices and maintain accurate documentation while working independently during portions of the ten-hour night shift.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of CT Technologist experience
  • Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography — ARRT(CT)
  • Current Basic Life Support certification — BLS
  • Active or eligible Oregon Board of Medical Imaging licensure
  • Ability to start IVs independently
  • Ability to work ten-hour night shifts
  • Availability to work weekends
  • Ability to work alone when departmental coverage requires it
  • Strong patient-care, communication, and image-quality skills

Desired Qualifications

  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography — ARRT(R)(CT)
  • Experience performing contrast and non-contrast CT examinations
  • Experience with CT-guided procedures
  • Experience supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department populations
  • Experience using GE CT equipment and post-processing technology
  • Ability to work efficiently with limited supervision
  • Strong critical-thinking and time-management skills
