Job Summary
Responsible for performing Computerized Tomography imaging studies and providing total patient care in a friendly environment. Requires excellent communication with public and medical personnel. Duties include evaluating patients, administering contrast media under supervision, ensuring patient safety, and operating hospital computer systems. Must maintain work habits consistent with hospital policies and train new personnel. This position requires a commitment to quality care and participation in departmental improvement programs.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of post-high school training
- Six months to one year prior CT experience
- State of Delaware Radiology Technologist License within 90 days
- ARRT/Radiographer and CT certified within 18 months
- American Heart Association BLS Certification

- Able to work well with others
- Good communication skills
- Experience in training new personnel

- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to work on an on-call basis
