Job Summary
CT Technologist coordinates and administers diagnostic and radiation therapy CT exams under supervision, ensuring patient safety, technical quality, and timely data transfer; fabricates immobilization devices as needed. Performs CT scans for routine radiologic exams and for radiation treatment planning, X-Ray scans for diagnostic use, and Panorex imaging for a dental clinic. Requires ARRT registration and a Louisiana state license; 2 years of radiologic technologist experience; graduate of an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program. Job located in Baton Rouge, LA, with on-site imaging duties at the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology
- 2 years experience as radiological technologist
- CT experience preferred
- Registered by ARRT with current License by the state of Louisiana
