Job Summary
CT Technologist conducts CT imaging by interpreting exam orders, positioning and transferring patients, and selecting appropriate technical factors. Operates CT equipment and related radiology information systems, adheres to safety standards, assists physicians with contrast agents and medications, and participates as a cooperative team member on weekends/evenings. Maintains CPR certification, performs first aid as needed, and stays current with credentialing continuing education. Employment location is Mercy Hospital Perry in Perryville, MO, with a full-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training.
- Licensure: ARRT registered or registry eligible upon hire, and ARRT achieved within six months of employment.
- Experience: Has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined to be adequate for the position.
- Certifications: ARRT registered or registry eligible upon hire, and ARRT achieved within six months of employment.
- Preferred Certification: ARRT Advanced Level certification in CT Scan or working towards certification.
