Job Summary
Performs CT imaging, interprets orders, positions patients, and selects technical factors for CT exams. Operates CT equipment, ensures safety per standards, and assists physicians with administering contrast agents and medications. Maintains proficiency with radiology information system and office equipment; supports other radiology areas as needed. Works as part of a cooperative team on weekend and evening shifts, communicates incidents to the Section Manager, and supports equipment maintenance. Maintains CPR certification and pursues credentialing education as required by governing agencies. Prefers ARRT Advanced Level certification in CT or progress toward certification. Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training
- ARRT registered or registry eligible upon hire, and ARRT achieved within six months of employment
