CT Technologist

Operate diagnostic equipment to produce CT images of internal organs while explaining processes to patients and administering contrast media per protocols. Prepare patients for scans by reviewing records, positioning them on the table, and establishing IV sites for contrast infusion. Enter patient and exam data into the computer system, perform computed scans, and prepare reports for billing and quality assurance. Assist radiologists with interventional procedures like biopsies, monitor patients during injections for reactions, and schedule exams to accommodate emergency needs. Maintain an aseptic environment, archive images, and complete incident reports as required.
