Job Summary

Performs CT scans to produce diagnostic images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, explaining standard procedures, reviewing prescreening forms, addressing patient questions, producing CT radiographs, administering IV contrast when necessary, ensuring completed exams are accompanied by required paperwork for the Radiologist, and maintaining safety and quality control in the CT department. Demonstrates a caring, compassionate demeanor when guiding patients through procedures, answers phones, maintains a clean environment, participates in professional development and maintains registrations and licenses, and upholds strict confidentiality. Requires High School Diploma, ARRT certification in CT, Florida radiologic license, venipuncture certification, and BLS certification. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and reliable attendance are essential. This is a full-time position in an outpatient medical office setting with standard hours Monday through Friday. EEO statement included.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Completion of ARRT in AMA approved school
  • Florida license and current ARRT certification in CT
  • Venipuncture certified
  • Current American Heart Association recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
