Job Summary
The CT Technologist performs computed tomography examinations to produce diagnostic images as directed by a radiologist. Responsibilities include collecting patient data, verifying identification and physician orders, screening patients prior to scans, administering contrast agents, monitoring patients during exams, and ensuring accurate documentation in medical systems. Required qualifications include completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and current ARRT certification. Strong communication skills and independent critical thinking are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a (JRCERT) accredited Radiologic Technology recognized by ARRT.
- Current Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program.
- Act 34-PA Criminal Record Check from the PA State Police system
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI
