Job Summary
Perform computerized tomographic procedures for disease and injury diagnosis according to radiologist protocols, including biopsy, TAVR, coronary, and fiducial placement. Prepare and position patients while selecting accurate anatomic and technical parameters. Administer contrast media and medications within scope, observe patients during procedures, and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates as warranted, while strictly following radiation safety guidelines. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner throughout shifts. Requires ARRT-R or CT credential and completion of a radiology program. Full-time day shift with comprehensive benefits and tuition coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology program and ARRT-R or RCIS/CCI credential
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
