Job Summary
CT Technologist II performs computed tomographic procedures for diagnosis following radiologists' protocols. Responsibilities include patient positioning, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters, administering contrast within scope, monitoring the patient during procedures, observing for abnormal activity, following radiation safety guidelines, and updating protocols as needed. Must meet credential requirements (ARRT-CT or NMTCB CT, BLS HCP, and related ARRT/NMTCB credentials). This is a 12-week contract with weekends and night shifts (PRN/per diem). The role emphasizes high vigilance in a hospital radiology setting and adherence to safety standards while supporting CT imaging services.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) HealthCare Provider - American Heart Association
- ARRT-CT Computed Tomography or NMTCB CT Credential
- ARRT-R Radiography or equivalent credential OR ARRT-T Radiation Therapy OR ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist OR CNMT
