Job Summary
Operate computerized tomography scanners to obtain images for physician diagnosis, positioning patients and administering contrast media while manipulating images to visualize pathologies. Deliver customer service by explaining procedures, addressing patient questions, and reducing anxiety through attentive communication. Ensure all imaging follows radiologist directions and established procedures. Requires ARRT (CT) certification, IEMA licensure, and current BLS CPR certification. Part-time schedule of 20 hours weekly starting at 9am with rotating weekends and holidays. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 available. Endeavor Health serves 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties with over 300 ambulatory locations and eight Magnet hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
- ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology) certification
- ARRT (CT), (Computerized Tomography) certification
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
- Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within six months of start date into position

- A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher
- Prior CT experience
