Job Summary
Perform computerized tomographic procedures for disease and injury diagnosis according to radiologist protocols, including biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations, or fiducial placement. Prepare and position patients, select anatomic and technical parameters accurately, and administer contrast media and medications within scope. Monitor patients during procedures, report abnormal activity, and observe radiation safety guidelines while maintaining constant alertness. Recommend protocol updates or refinements as warranted. This position is available as PRN in St. Louis, Missouri, with pay ranging from $32.48 to $48.72/hour and daily pay options. Shift differentials are available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology program
- ARRT-R or RCIS/CCI credential as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
